The state Commission on Hispanic Affairs plans a public meeting for 6-9 p.m. Friday, April 25, at Omak City Hall.
"The commission's task is to assure the Latino community has access to state services," said commissioner Jorge R. Chacon, who said he expects several dozen people to turn out.
He's invited mayors, police chiefs and school superintendents.
