The 20th annual United Powwow begins at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 3, in Paschal Sherman Indian School's gym.
     Grand entry will begin at 1 p.m., with dinner at 5 p.m. and the evening session grand entry at 7.
     Sonny Quinto, Colville tribal member, will host the event as master of ceremonies. All drummers and dancers are welcome and host drums will be chosen at each session, say organizers.
     The public is welcome to the drug- and alcohol-free event, say organizers with Wenatchee Valley College at Omak Red Road Association, Omak Middle School, Omak High School and the Colville Confederated Tribes' Omak youth TANF program.
