Residential burglary charges were filed April 30 in Ferry County Superior Court against five 15-year-olds allegedly involved in a February crime spree in Keller.
Melanie J. Clark, Nespelem; Richard Cobos, Keller; Kyle J. Grinnell, Coulee Dam, and Janae E. Joseph, Nespelem, were each charged with three counts of residential burglary while Alysia L. Weger, Nespelem, faces two counts.
In separate cases the same five youths face charges of taking a motor vehicle without permission, second-degree burglary and second-degree malicious mischief. Those charges were filed in early March.
A trial is tentatively scheduled in June for the first set of charges.
Grinnell is set to be arraigned on the residential burglary charges at 11 a.m. May 16 while the other four are to be arraigned at 11 a.m. May 9 in Ferry County Superior Court.
Estimated damages are $50,000 to $80,000, according to Ferry County officials, who say damage estimates are still coming in.
The five allegedly entered 11 unoccupied vacation homes in the Keller area, partied there and damaged the residences, court records indicate.
Joseph is in custody for violating her pre-trial agreement on the first set of charges. Bail was set at $10,000, according to court records.
Grinnell and Cobos pleaded guilty to unrelated charges in Okanogan County last month.
