NESPELEM – One person was injured in when a vehicle flipped onto its side Jan. 21 about 6.5 miles north of Nespelem on state Highway 155.
     Driver Garland C. Toney, 47, Oak Harbor, was not hurt. A passenger, Christina L. Beaushamp, 58, Wilbur, was injured and treated at the scene, the Washington State Patrol said.
     Toney was northbound when his SUV skidded and overturned. He and Beaushamp were wearing seatbelts.
     The vehicle sustained an estimated $10,000 worth of damage, the patrol said.
