BREWSTER - Two people were injured when their pickup truck left U.S. Highway 97 about 1.3 miles south of Brewster on Jan. 24.
Marvin L. Hild, 71, Okanogan, was northbound when his truck skidded on the snowy highway around 9:08 p.m., the Washington State Patrol said. His truck went off the road and overturned, coming to rest in a ditch.
Hild, who was using a seatbelt, was transported by private vehicle to Okanogan-Douglas District Hospital, Brewster, for treatment of a sore back.
A passenger, Alberta L. Hild, 60, Okanogan, suffered chest pain. She was transported by ambulance to the hospital in Brewster.
The pickup truck was destroyed.
